This is a special meeting because we will be electing Executive Committee members, New State Party Officers, including our Chair and First Vice-Chair.

State Committee members can attend via zoom, but all voting will be done in person or via proxy. Please contact austin@arkdems.org to be sure your proxy will be counted in this important election that will determine the future of our party!

 We are continuing to find ways to support our local communities and those in need. At our January meeting, we are asking State Committee members and guests to bring clothing items for donation to Lucie’s Place.

Lucie’s Place provides LGBTQ+ young adults experiencing homelessness in Arkansas housing solutions that address homelessness as structural injustice, and efforts for the development of autonomous, liberated communities rooted in transformative justice. 

Below is a full list of the items which are most needed:

The items most in need are:

• Shoes (especially size 12-17, especially women’s)

• Bras (gently used & new)

• Underwear (new)

• Undershirts & tank-tops

• Sweatpants & leggings

• Jeans

• Belts (especially L-3XL)

• Wigs (please no party wigs)

• Bags (suitcases, backpacks, duffels, totes, purses, etc.)
